Technocide definition:
Technocide, technological genocide. The wilful repression, withholding or destruction of advanced technologies, thereby holding back or preventing society's advancement and elevation.
This is descriptive of ancient and modern civilization's elite controllers, who destroyed the development of advanced technologies for their own nefarious ends. In our own era, General Motors and other car manufacturers who designed and produced highly successful electric cars, called back all the vehicles for crushing or shredding. The banker J. P. Morgan, financial backer of Nikola Tesla, withdrew funding from Tesla, effectively destroying his launch of advanced technologies for the benefit of the whole of society. Such acts were no less than wilful technocide.
